UPSC Shelf Hubs: Syllabus, Pattern, Eligibility & Cut-offs

UPSC Shelf now ships public preparation hubs and interactive tools—eligibility and cut-off studios—alongside the connected student, faculty, and mentor landing experience.

One brand, many preparation guides

UPSC Shelf keeps your private library, Tutor, Quiz, and Planner as the product core. Around that core, public hubs cover Prelims, Mains, PYQs, syllabus, exam pattern, calendar, notification, eligibility, and previous-year cut-offs so aspirants can start from a guide and continue into the app.

Each hub uses UPSC Shelf branding, clear disclaimers that we are independent of the Commission, and links back to Learn, Practice, and sign-in.

Interactive tools on the eligibility and cut-off pages

The eligibility checker estimates age on 1 August of the exam year and remaining attempts by category. The cut-off explorer filters ten years of Prelims, Mains, and final marks and surfaces safe-score planning targets you can map into Planner.

These tools are for orientation. Always confirm rules and archive PDFs on upsc.gov.in when the official notification and results are published.

A landing page that shows the connected cycle

The UPSC home hero auto-rotates Student, Faculty, and Mentor previews the way the generic Shelf carousel plays—then locks to the role you click so you can explore the connected journey. Journey steps walk Federalism from study through Prelims practice, Mains writing, faculty feedback, and revision.

Existing Shelf showcases, value steps, continuity, and FAQ sections remain on the page. The Ashoka Stambh (Lion Capital) mark is decorative branding for the UPSC product only — not the official State Emblem.

How hubs help answer-engine and search discovery

Each hub is a crawlable page with FAQ schema, keywords, and links into Learn, Practice, and sign-in. That structure helps search and AI overviews cite a specific UPSC Shelf URL instead of a vague home page.

Independent of the Commission

UPSC Shelf is not affiliated with the Union Public Service Commission. Always confirm eligibility, dates, and cut-offs on official notifications and result PDFs.

Next step after browsing a hub

When a guide answers your question, create a free library, upload the PDFs you already use, and try Tutor with that material in scope. Hubs stay available without sign-in for orientation.
